Ghostbusters at Nuke-Con
Nuke-Con is excited to have our local Ghostbusters! They will only be at the convention on Saturday October 4th. So come join us while we haunt the halls of the Mid America Center.

Extra Life at Nuke-Con
Extra life is a nationwide charity that raises money for Children’s Miracle Network. While a lot of Extra Lifers use video game streaming to raise money, we’re partnering with Nuke-Con to bring board games into the mix!
So many ways to contribute! Extra Life will have a booth in Vendor Alley where we offer 3D-printed board game upgrade components along with other gaming accessories and things that just look cool on your shelf! Don’t forget to play a game of plinko or roll a custom die to try your luck at winning a prize. We’ll also have custom re-roll tokens, good at selected D&D Adventurers League and Pathfinder Society games when you need just one more chance to succeed! And look for the board games run by Adam Vraspir and you’ll be able to contribute right at the table.

Deadline to Submit Your Games Approaches
Nuke-Con wants you to come play your games with us because we don’t want to keep all the fun for ourselves. Pick your few favorites and then schedule your games here. Make sure you get them submitted by September 8 at 11:59 pm to get them into the schedule and the program book!
Don’t fret, it’s a full weekend of games so you have the time and space to plan game slots and still play games, too. Don’t forget to tell your friends!

Welcome Special Guest Fredd Gorham
Fredd has worked as a freelance illustrator for many different comic book and game companies. Some highlights are SwampThing, X-Men, Avengers, Superman, Steve Jackson Games, GURPS, Palladium, Fantasy Flight Games and others.
In 2012, Fredd started Steel Angel Studios with his wife Linda to promote and sell his artwork in prints, books and other items of interest.
Fredd is the long-time host of the Artist Jam at Krypton Comics. Its purpose is to promote Omaha’s creative community of artists and like-minded individuals. The Artist Jam occurs every third Saturday of the month from 12noon till 6pm and is free to all ages.
On top of all that, Fredd is the creator of our mascots Dunjin Diceroller, Magenta, and Max Damage, as well as our 3 new recruits. He has drawn the cover and t-shirt art for Nuke-Con since our first convention.
