AHOY MATEYS! We are happy to shout from the crow’s nest that Shipwreck Dice has set sail and heading back to Nuke-Con Island again this year!
Captain Sasha Smoot of Shipwreck Dice produces custom polyhedral dice… or, as the website says, “a treasure chest full of shiny, clickety-clackety loot”!
If yer treasure be dice matey’s, we’ll then you’ll find plenty to plunder here!
Gaming at Joe’s (another new face at Nuke-Con) sells board games and other board game related items, such as dice, dice bags, and jewelry.
“All my work has its roots in realism and the challenge is to accurately depict the images in my mind. My work ties together realms of reality and fantasy, with forays into the elements of the world around me. The goal is to create fantasy worlds that other people can imagine themselves traveling to…” As you can see above, Joe is also an indie game designer, so when you visit his booth be sure to ask him about what he’s working on right now.
“My passion is to tell stories, making games allows me to take my stories and bring them to life, though either video games or physical games such as board games and card games. I have found that games have two benefits for people, they both allow people to come together and create a bond, and they also allow people to escape to that world and take a break from their day-to-day life.”

Whoosh! Nuke-Con 2021, The Return of the Weekend of Games, is a wrap!
We had a great convention. We heard over and over how good it was to see our people again, and it was also exciting to see so many new folks (and so many child-folks!).
Many, many thanks to our sponsors (Tabletop Adventures, Our Family Plays Games, VZ3D, and Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty), our merchants, our play organizers, our game masters, and our gamers. You make the convention stimulating and fun! Thanks also to the Mid-America Center for a lovely venue and to its staff for keeping us safe, fed and hydrated. My own special thanks to the Nuke-Con staff and volunteers for the (literally) hundreds of hours they work to achieve a smooth event. It takes all of us to make the Weekend.
Through the generosity of donors and buyers, our gamer garage sale, charity raffle, and dollar donations made an enormous collection for Extra Life / Children’s Hospital Foundation. You folks are fantastic!
At our new location, the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, we’ve got room for all kinds of games from Apples to Apples all the way through Warhammer (and beyond, if you can think of any). Game registration is open now. All slots are currently available.
We
Need
You!
BONUS! We’ll have our Discord channel active over the weekend, too, so if you need a virtual tabletop, we’ve got you covered!
