    I wanted to remind all you Nuke-Heads that our May Aftershock Game Day is but a few days away; Saturday, May 27th to be exact. Also as a reminder, you can read all about game details, times, location, and pricing details simply by clicking here.

    And as the big day is almost upon upon us (you can feel the rumbling already), we’ll be closing out the game registrations at midnight on Thursday, May 25. So, if you haven’t yet and still want to, click this here link to register, schedule and list your game.

    There are one or two old posts floating around the social media world about Nuke-Con’s annual convention. While we love the engagement, we need to make a correction:

    Nuke-Con 2023 is happening at the Mid-America Center, Council Bluffs, IA on September 22, 23, and 24.

    Bring your dice, your meeples, your terrain . . . and your friends!  You can purchase your badges, and if you want to run a game (yes, please!) submit events to run on our website.

    0-level funnel adventure and a ShadowDark RPG 0-level dungeon crawl!

    The Extra Life raffle is your chance to win something new for your nerd collection and at the same time help to entertain the children receiving care at Children’s Hospital. Tickets are $1 each, or you can buy 8 all at once for only $5. All proceeds go to the Children’s Hospital and Medical Care Foundation.

    In Support of Extra Life

    Extra Life is a fundraising program that unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In the greater Omaha metro area, funds raised go to the Childrens Hospital Foundation, which helps the hospital provide needed medical care and support for children and their families.

    There are a number of ways to help out Extra Life at Nuke-Con 2022.

    SELL STUFF! BUY STUFF!

    Some items in the Gamer Garage Sale are dedicated to Extra Life. If you have game-related things you’d like to donate to the cause, click the link above or bring them to the convention and we’ll sell them for you. There is no listing fee for items sold for Extra Life, and all proceeds for these lots go directly to Extra Life.

    PLAY GAMES!

    Some board games will collect table fees, all of which go directly to Extra Life. Rumor has it that certain games may also allow you to buy dice re-rolls or other in-game perks.

    BUY RAFFLE TICKETS!

    There are some very generous people who have donated prizes for our Extra Life Raffle. You can buy tickets at Registration for $1 each ($5 will get you 8 tickets). Drawings will be held throughout Saturday and Sunday. Major prizes include:

    Nuke-Con Custom Masks are Back!

    The pandemic of the past couple of years has eased, but the covid organism is still with us. We don’t yet know how public health conditions will develop, but we’ll let you know by September 2nd what Nuke-Con’s mask policy will be. Whether they are required or not, masking will help protect both you and your fellow gamers. Therefore Nuke-Con presents the 2022 Custom Mask!

    It has a 3-piece ergonomic design, adjustable ear loops, and a nose bridge for better fit and comfort. It is washable. One size only.

    Pre-order at $10 per mask is open now. If we get enough pre-orders by midnight, September 9 we’ll buy the masks and deliver yours at Nuke-Con. We’ll refund your money in full if we’re not able to place the order.
